Our Principal in Malaysia Sundrop Fruit Juices Bhd is one of the oldest manufacturers of beverages in Malaysia, commencing operations in December, 1957. Sundrop Fruit Juices Bhd commenced operations manufacturing ready to drink ready to drink fruit juices, coffee, and tea products.

Over the course of their 60 year history, Sundrop Fruit Juices interacted with many institutional outlet Including restaurants, fast food chains, coffeeshops. Food safety and product consistency had become a paramount concern for many customers over the years, especially franchise chain outlets. And retail counter space had become more and more precious, customers more demanding, and trained service crew more difficult to come by.

Many retailers because of space constraints could not sell ready to drink beverages, they take up Just too much space. Conventional dispensing machines, post-mix or pre-mix were not a solution either; they were too costly, too difficult to maintain, too bulky, or require a cleaning SOP which many retailers could not comply with.

Sundrop Fruit Juices embarked on a mission more than 10 years ago to come up with a dispensing solution for concentrates that closely resembled freshly prepared coffee, tea and fruit juices. The concentrates had to be room temperature stable for at least 45 days to enable safe distribution and usage by retailers, especially those with untrained staff or inadequate cold room storage. There has to be no cleaning SOP, especially for those involving high protein beverages like Milk Coffee and Milk Tea where inadequate cleaning may give rise to food safety issues. The products had to be easy and safe to use and provide a consistent taste, even when prepared by untrained staff.

The food technologists of Sundrop Fruit Juices worked closely with selected customers, understanding their problems, their requirements, evaluating their staff capabilities and their facilities.
